The 3 types of BJJ Black Belt
The Fight Hub Brand Black Belts are made for the Competitor, The Coach, and The Professor.
We carry all IBJJF approved Black Belts.
The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt with a White Bar (or Band), typically signifies a Black Belt "Competitor" or someone who is at the Black Belt Ability level, but has not taken an Instructor course or does not teach classes.
The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt with a Red Bar (or Band) signifies a Black Belts ability to Teach. While this is the most common Belt awarded to Black Belts, these Belts are usually reserved for Coaches who teach classes or who have complete an organizations "Instructor Program".
The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt with a Red Band (or Bar) and White Stripes, is significant to separate the Head Instructor or a Professor of the Academy. The White Instructor Stripes usually come after several years of teaching.
Quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belts with the correct bar on the end are hard to find.
Whatever type of BJJ Belt you need, The Fight Hub has it.
